Pairs and Boxed Sets

Drinking vessels are made in pairs by cutting a single slab into two pieces.  The cut edge between the slabs becomes the lip of the vessel.  Many vessels are sold separately, but others remain a matched at the lip pair.  In some cases wooden boxes are made to house them.  The sets of four small tapis plates come from a single slab cut into four pieces and typically housed in a wooden box.
